Scheduled Family Visitation Times at Our Adolescent Residential Treatment Facility
Scheduled visitation is every Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
That slot sits outside school, group therapy and the rest of the weekly programming, which is why it works. The daily schedule is tight, and visits that land in the middle of a group pull a resident out of the work he is there to do.

Flexible Visiting Arrangements for Parents Who Cannot Make the Sunday Time
The visiting policy allows parental visits at times that accommodate the parent’s schedule.
This matters more than it might look. Families travel here from every part of Minnesota, and a good number of parents work shifts or weekends. A rigid Sunday-only rule would quietly cut some young men off from their families for months at a time. Parents who cannot make the standard slot should call the facility to arrange something workable.
Mental Health Counseling and Family Counseling Provided Through Life Steps Counseling
Jennifer Bettis, LMFT, from Life Steps Counseling works with Endeavor Place, LLC and its residents who are in need of mental health counseling and family counseling.
Mental health group sessions run on Fridays between 9 and 11 a.m. Individual sessions with residents and families take place in the afternoon.

This service is provided through Life Steps Counseling and is not affiliated with Endeavor Place, LLC. Billing, clinical records and the therapeutic relationship sit with Life Steps Counseling.
Life Steps Counseling accepts many kinds of insurance, including Medical Assistance.

Why Family Involvement Is Part of Adolescent Substance Use Disorder Treatment
A young man leaves here and goes back to a household. Whatever he has built over several months has to survive contact with the people, rooms and routines he came from.
Family counseling is where that gets worked out ahead of time rather than discovered on the first weekend home. It also gives parents somewhere to put their own frustration, exhaustion and guilt, which are usually considerable by the time a placement happens.
